It's part of a larger fibre glass sculpture depicting a swimmer which bizarrely is advertising a TV show about tattooing. The event is one of the highlights of the year for me (I was parading with young people from the Arts Summer School I help to organise) because London looks magical in lantern light and it's so lovely to see people of all ages illuminating the banks of The Thames and obviously having a great time. This one took a bit of time to get right. I now realise that I need to take lots more pictures. It feels odd taking photos of uninteresting patches of soil but I have to remember that the final composite benefits from all the detail.
